An outspoken advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the tech community, Lori was a founding and driving force behind the RVA Tech’s Women in Tech Conference and has served on RVA Tech’s board since 2013. She helped found a Data Summit conference which brought together the data ecosystem in central Virginia. In 2020, she received the RVATECH Chairman’s award for her contributions to the tech community. As a proud VCU Ram, Lori is involved in VCU’s Connect Mentoring Program advising and connecting students on tech opportunities.
She received dual BS degrees in Marketing and in Clothing and Textiles from Virginia Tech and an MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University.
In her personal time, Lori can be found cheering for her Hokies in football and Rams in basketball or playing any number of racquet sports. And, she has never found a puzzle that she doesn’t like.
